Job Summary :
The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and proposing solutions that meet these needs. This role typically involves negotiating contracts, managing client accounts, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify potential business clients through networking, cold calling, and industry research. Develop strategies to engage and secure new accounts.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients. Ensure that clients are satisfied with the company’s products or services, address any issues, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects, highlighting the benefits of the company’s products or services tailored to their specific business needs.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Stay updated on industry and market trends that can affect sales.
- Develop effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets, aligning with the company's overall business goals.
- Generate and submit sales reports and track sales performance against targets. Provide management with insights and feedback gained from client interactions.
- Work closely with other departments, including marketing and customer support, to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Able to convey information effectively in both one-on-one and group presentation situations.
- Skilled in securing profitable agreements and tactfully handling objections.
- Able to develop strategic sales plans based on company goals and market trends.
- Competent in analyzing data and sales statistics to inform approaches and report to upper management.
- Comfortable using CRM software and other sales applications.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is often required.
Experience :
Experience in sales, especially B2B sales, is highly desirable. Previous roles in a specific industry may also be beneficial depending on the sector the company operates in.
