The Mechanic position is responsible for performing basic mechanical maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting equipment for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure equipment is performing appropriately and the customer is taken care of.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of a mechanie the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work required. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds. Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and the confined areas. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment is at the airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircraft and heavy equipment.

JOB SUMMARY:
Support vehicle development
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage vehicle inventory by refurbishing or scrapping vehicles.
Crate / uncrate vehicles, complete predelivery set-up, prepare vehicles for storage.
Support mechanics, development and test technicians as needed.
Conduct some testing to support product development.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Maintains a clean work area and meets OSHA requirements.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
Travel is not expected but is a possibility.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
High School diploma required.
Actively pursuing a diploma / degree in technical field.
Familiar with powersports, experience preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Good self-starter and able to communicate professionally.
Must be familiar with powersports chassis and powertrains.
