PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

As a Cage Cashier, you will set the stage for fabulous guest experiences with your welcoming smile and superior service.  By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Perform frontline entry level transactions, chip bank transactions, poker transactions, cage credit transactions and employee bank/window transactions 

• Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank as well as High Limit cage 

• Service patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units 

• Cash all types of checks for patrons within the specified guidelines 

• Redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out) and Race and Sports tickets for patrons 

• Conduct both Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts 

• Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies 

• Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets 

• Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately 

• Assist patrons with general information upon request 

• Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes 

• Perform other job-related duties as requested 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• At least 21 years of age 

• Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent 

• Holds a NV Gaming License or the ability to obtain one

• Customer service experience preferred 

• Previous cash handling experience in a high-volume setting preferred

THE JOB:  

Are you a hard worker that appreciates a fast-paced environment? It is the responsibility of the Casino Cashier Representative to process customer and interdepartmental monetary transactions while providing excellent guest service promoting the MGM Rewards program. By understanding the guests’ unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

• Ensures security of Company assets; including cash, chips, and tokens, during the shift 

• Balances all appropriate banks within the Cage with supervision  

• Completes reports or forms accurately

• Proficient in marker payments & issuance, deposits, withdraws, and chip bank duties  

• Will assist with Poker and High Limit Cages 

• Promote and enroll guests into MGM Rewards program

• Issue FREEPLAY, complimentary play coupons and adjust tier credits  

• Ensure consistent promotion of GameSense to all guests 

• Performs other job-related duties as requested 

The IDEAL CANDIDATE:  

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Customer service experience, preferably in a resort setting 

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

• Proficient in the management of cash transactions 

• Has a gaming license

• Previous experience in Cage or bank teller preferred
