Title: Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of pastries, and baked goods following established recipes and standards.
2. Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality at all times.
3. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items and seasonal menus that showcase innovative flavors and presentation.
4. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients, equipment, and finished products.
5. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of pastries and desserts for service periods.
6. Uphold a clean and organized pastry kitchen environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitation.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve pastry offerings.
8. Collaborate with other departments for special events, promotions, and orders, as needed.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
2. Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution.
3. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
4. Creativity and passion for creating visually appealing and flavorful desserts.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
