Job Scope:
-Masterfully decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity, ensuring each piece is both visually stunning and delicious.
-Stay abreast of the latest trends in cake decoration and baking, incorporating innovative designs and techniques into our product offerings.
-Collaborate with the Pastry and Cake team to conceptualize and execute custom designs for special orders, including but not limited to weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.
-Conduct quality control checks on all decorated items, ensuring they meet the high standards of our brand before they reach our customers.
-Manage inventory of decorating supplies, tools, and ingredients, ensuring they are well-stocked and properly stored.
-Lead and mentor junior staff in cake decorating techniques, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of skills and creativity.
-Proficient in various cake decorating techniques such as piping, sugar flower creation, fondant and marzipan modeling, airbrushing, and hand-painting.
-A strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for detail, with the ability to translate intricate designs into edible art.
-Passionate about baking and cake decorating, with a continuous desire to learn and innovate in the field.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
