About the Role

To provide management and the Board with an objective, independent assessment of the internal control systems through planning and execution of audit assignments. The individual will also contribute to management by providing appropriate business recommendations and assist in the delivery of overall audit plan and reporting to committees and management.

• Implement audits and evaluate the adequacy of controls according to established schedule and quality requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan and schedules, Audit Committee reports, monthly country reports and fulfil other regional or local reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor audits performed by external auditors (for special projects, if any), other entities' auditors and other groups providing assurance.
• Prepare audit reports and participate in discussion of issues and remedial action plans with the appropriate levels of management.
• Assist with reporting overall results of audits to Board Committee and management.
• Follow-up outstanding audit issues and monitor timely completion of agreed remedial actions by management.
• Proactively contribute to the development of the team through coaching, training, sharing of ideas and providing timely feedback to junior staff.
• Identify ways to improve the audit process and alignment among team members.
• Liaise with the control community and other members of the company to contribute to the improvement of an effective and efficient system of internal control.
• Develop rapport with business unit management through regular communication of changes in business operations, emerging risks, potential issues, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of internal/ external audit experience or in the Insurance, Financial Services, or a related industry.
• A relevant professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
• Knowledge with audit tools and other software such as ACL (data analytic tools) and MS Office, intermediate knowledge on IT
• Ability to work under pressure and meet achievements within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.

About the Role

Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Regular BAU support

• System health checking, user acceptance testing, production environment, including database.
• Daily/monthly Production Batch cycle monitoring on functional results and performance checking, and conducting a quick fix for incidents, if any.
• Production server performance report and trend analysis, based on information provided by Technical Solution Services team from SS HK.
• Monthly report about environment health status, PIR status and BAU enhancement progress.
• Be the IT Application owner incl.ownership of all Azure and other technology resources (AD Groups, PIDs, etc)

Build and maintain modern data pipelines that make data available and accessible to the global company

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for our data.
• Solving and supporting build, test, and deployment incidents if they happen
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and processes.
• Supervise and resolve operational issues related to infrastructure and data pipelines

Handling of ad-hoc request including:

• User query on mapping table/suspense records/policy extraction/User acceptance test cycle/New Product Launch.
• Compliance review.
• Disaster recovery drill.
• Document/process updates.
• System improvement for new requirements, system defects and system software upgrade

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and demonstrated ability in data engineering, Azure cloud and power platform
• 2 years experience in architecting data solutions on Azure cloud platform and experience in software development
• A proven experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and solid grasp of Tableau administration/architecture.
• Proficiency in big data, analytics, database management, event driven, microservices, DevOps and/or machine learning operation in Azure cloud
• Experience with complex Data warehouse, data modelling, ETL design, and using large databases in a business environment
• Experience with Azure, Databricks ,PySpark and Spark SQL
• Experience with Tableau desktop and tableau server admin
• Good knowledge of azure resources standard processes, have critical thinking on quality software / product
