Job Description
· Lead and provide guidance within the Transaction Monitoring and Sanction function teams (20pax++)
· Oversight of day-to-day Transaction Monitoring and Sanction function and monitor aging status
· Assist in performing level 2 review of corporate alerts
· Assist in performing level 2 review of STORMS alerts
· Review and checking of response for Production Orders
· Filing of STR
· Assist in performing sample testing on commercial bank individual alerts cleared by Level 1 reviewers
· Review quarterly sample testing on Accuity (trade financing) alerts
· Annual review of transaction monitoring parameters and thresholds
· Review gap analysis performed by business units and assessed by team members
· Review of business/exception/extension memos
· Assist in management, HO and regulatory reporting
· Assist in audit and regulatory inspections/requests
· Review of AML policy and procedure and to undertake appropriate changes
· Conducts AML relating training as and when necessary
· Sharing session with Transaction Monitoring and Sanction team members during ongoing regular meetings
· Dissemination of regulatory updates from STRO/authority
· Any other project(s) assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
· At least Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field
· At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity in a Bank in Singapore
· English & Mandarin to liaise with all stakeholders
· Strong knowledge in local rules and regulations
· Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments

High performing summer analysts will be considered for a full time position in 2025 after graduation.

Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for an analyst intern to join the Transaction Banking team in Paris (Treasury and Trade Solutions - TTS). TTS works with international clients to streamline their Cash Management as well as Trade processes and make transactions seamless. TTS provides innovative solutions to public sector clients, corporations, and financial institutions in more than 120 countries, including 99 of the Fortune Global 100 companies. We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The 6-month internship program starts in July 2024 and begins with an introduction to Citi and TTS. You will then join France TTS Financial Institutions Sales & Correspondent Banking team where you will gain a real-hands on experience by working on a number of live projects.
Your time here will look something like this...
• Supporting the team managing and executing Cash Clearing and Trade transactions on behalf of France's largest banks, insurance, asset managers and fintech
• Analyzing transaction flows of the world's largest financial institutions through access to CRMs
• Supporting the FI Sales team with data analysis and the production of reports
• Be a part of the front end of technological development for the financial transaction space
• Work and support more than 90 different geographies across Citi footprint to deliver the best solutions to our clients.
We want to hear from you if...
• You are in your penultimate or final year of university (Graduation Year 2024 & 202)
• You have a good understanding of Finance and have an interest in Transaction Banking
• You have strong knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• You are fluent in English and have some French language knowledge
• You are currently enrolled in a University/Business School that can provide an internship agreement.
