Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the customer service function and the logistics/procurement control function of the plant located in Bukit Mertajam.
- Preparing quotations to customers;
- Customers’ orders fulfilment;
- Handling of customers’ VMI (Vendor Management Inventory);
- Order entries into the plant’s ERP system;
- Execution of shipments to customers (packing/palletizing, generation of invoices & delivery orders and other shipping documents);
- Liaison with shipping agents (truck drives, forwarders) for on time-delivery;
- Sourcing of new suppliers, service providers and shipping agents
- Assist in DG shipment;
- Preparation of production materials purchasing plan and issuance of orders to materials suppliers;
- Monitoring of suppliers committed deliveries schedules;
- Support all purchasing functions including RFQ (request for quote), pricing comparison and negotiations, issuance of PO and other follow-up;
- Handling imports and export documentation;
- Assist in filling reports required by LMW (Local Manufacturing Warehouse).
