ABOUT THE ROLE
The Geospatial Product Advisor will act as a consultant and subject matter expert for our geospatial solutions. In this position, you will work closely with our Sales and Content teams in helping to refine and improve our solutions directly through focus groups, workshops, and other client-facing engagements. You will solve complex geospatial problems reported by our clients, explain the benefits and use cases for our solutions, and improve our products by gathering product feedback and data modifications. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in a GIS capacity, preferably within the real estate environment.
Previous experience as a geospatial consultant or sales engineer with spatial data expertise.

Duties & Responsibilities
Handling of customer questionnaires or documents related to product information, regulatory and religious compliance.
· Completion of customer questionnaires or documents related to product information, regulatory and religious compliance.
Provides regulatory technical support
· Work closely with the PIRA Manager to represent company and participating in trade association meetings.
· Provide technical support to customers and internal departments (sales, creation, operations, etc.) on product information and regulatory issues.
· Keep abreast of current food and flavour legislation and product information.
· Provide support to ensure appropriate regulatory and religious compliance of raw materials and flavour products. This includes legislation within Asia Pacific region, Halal, Kosher, GMO, Allergen and any technical product information related to flavour, food additive and food ingredients.
· Assist to contact relevant Government authorities accordingly to clarify any regulatory-related issues.
· Collaborate and interact as required with relevant personnel from other departments to communicate regulatory requirements.
· Provide support to the PIRA Manager in relevant SAP projects so as to have continuous improvements in the regulatory function. Assist to maintain regulatory and religious documentation system accordingly.
Manage religious management systems and support food safety management system
· Support in applications and audits to certify products Halal with MUIS. Tasks may include the following:
o Contact point for MUIS for routine Halal applications
o Assist in the activities required to coordinate the internal Halal audits
o Provide relevant support in any external audits involving Halal
o Assist in sustaining relevant communication or projects involved in order to ensure that continuous improvements are being made to the Halal Management System accordingly.

Experience
Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, or related courses with at least 7 years of relevant experience in flavor or food and beverage industry
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related Science courses with at least 5 years of relevant experience in flavor or food and beverage industry
At least Masters in Food Science, Chemistry, or related Sciences with at least 1 year of relevant experience in flavor or food and beverage industry
Special Skills/Knowledge Required (Technical Competency)
· Intermediate knowledge and skills on regulatory knowledge to provide advice to stakeholders on regulatory compliance and legal matters related to support business decision making
· Intermediate knowledge and skills on regulatory risk assessment to analyse the impact of latest regulatory developments
· Intermediate knowledge and skills on measures/ practices to meet religious requirements such as Halal and Kosher in food manufacturing
