As the Talent Acquisition and Talent Management Specialist, you will be a key player in sourcing and integrating talents into our organization within the assigned region(s), while also supporting talent management initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager for Talent Management, you will implement innovative recruitment strategies tailored to the region's needs and spearhead employer branding initiatives aimed at showcasing Armstrong as an employer of choice.
Your primary focus will be on identifying quality candidates, establishing robust pipelines, and fostering collaboration across teams for an impactful hiring process. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting talent management activities such as core values rollout and talent development projects.
Your expertise in driving initiatives to attract, assess, and onboard talent will significantly contribute to the company’s growth and success in this specific region. Drawing from your experience, you will continuously refine the end-to-end recruitment process and consistently enhance candidates’ experiences with us to ensure the timely acquisition of the right talent specifically suited to regional requirements.
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment Process
· Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates for cultural fit and technical competencies.
· Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates and internal stakeholders.
· Coordinate interview schedules, travel arrangements (if applicable), and other logistics related to the recruitment process.
· Facilitate a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and hiring teams.
· Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
2. Talent Sourcing and Pipelining
· Utilize your network and industry knowledge to identify, attract, and engage top-tier candidates.
· Employ a variety of sourcing methods, including direct sourcing, networking, and leveraging online platforms, to build a robust candidate pipeline aligned to the Group’s business.
3. Collaboration with Hiring Managers
· Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
· Provide support in crafting job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluation criteria.
· Foster strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand their team dynamics, skills requirements, and business objectives.
· Provide guidance on market trends and talent availability.
4. Onboarding
· Collaborate with internal HR and hiring managers to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
· Ensure that new employees have the necessary information and resources for a successful integration into the organization.
5. Talent Management Support
· Support talent management initiatives such as core values rollout and talent development projects.
· Collaborate with the Talent Management team to identify talent development needs within the region and assist in designing and implementing relevant programs.
· Act as a liaison between the Talent Management team and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment of talent management strategies with regional objectives.
· Provide insights and feedback to the Talent Management team regarding regional talent trends and challenges.
6. Employer Branding
· Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organisation’s employer branding.
· Actively seek ways to promote a positive image of the company to attract top talent, both locally and within the broader industry.
Experience
· Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment including the recruitment for senior level positions.
· Proven track record of identifying, engaging, and securing top talent across business areas.
· Proficient in using recruitment tools, utilizing social media platforms and use of other candidate attraction programs.
· Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Ability to work autonomously while still maintaining alignment with the broader HR strategy and goals, along with proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Good understanding of local legislation and regulatory HR compliance requirements.
· Exposure to talent management scope is a plus.
· Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an important requirement due to the Group’s sizeable presence in the China market.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
