- Provide children with a caring, stimulating environment conducive to learning, offering supervision and guidance during after-school hours and school holidays.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute programs aimed at fostering holistic development in children, encompassing emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual aspects.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of students at all times.
- Serve as a responsible and positive role model for the children.
Key Role/Job Function:
▪ Manage a group of approximately 20 students aged between 7 and 12 years old.
▪ Ensure completion of school homework and provide support for test/examinations preparation.
▪ Supervise and guide students in both academic work and life skills, including play, hygiene, and mealtime routines.
▪ Plan and facilitate age-appropriate social, recreational, and holiday programs.
▪ Maintain a safe and secure environment for all students.
▪ Address disciplinary issues in the classroom using positive behavior support systems.
▪ Organize and conduct creative learning activities and outings as needed.
▪ Support students' holistic development in alignment with PCS goals.
▪ Transport students to and from a nearby school if required.
▪ Manage administrative tasks related to classroom management.
▪ Maintain regular communication with students' parents.
▪ Foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and volunteers.
Requirements:
▪ At least 5 GCE 'O' level credits.
▪ Fluency in English or Mother Tongue, both written and spoken.
▪ Certificate in student care.
▪ Demonstrated proficiency in classroom management skills.
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
▪ Passion and dedication for working with children.
