Field Service Specialist

The primary responsibility for this position is to manage the devices. This position will perform preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment. This position will also perform emergency repairs, at the customer location, as needed
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Field Services Specialist is responsible for all communication with assigned hatcheries and farms.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned biodevices, delivering an excellent customer service and after sales-support.
- Service and maintenance related issues on the complete Company ID equipment range.
- Provide electrical/mechanical support and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Required participation in territory after hours support and repairs.
- Understand and follow up visits to key account customers to check on the correct equipment functioning.
- Complete all relevant reporting forms and procedures including scheduling visits, customer site contacts, parts usage priorities, site cart management, certification program, vehicle and equipment maintenance within assigned time period.
- Manage and train the Operator Training Program for customer employees on the safety standards, utility, and proper usage of the equipment installed or repaired.
- Facilitate the vaccine and sanitation preparation program for all devices
- Principle for correct and accurate collecting and reporting all important information eg Convey to management the new sales support/maintenance service opportunities identified as a result of his/her client experience, or own market vision.
- Maintain inventory control of the assigned equipment and spare parts, co-ordinating the receipt of the requested equipment, both at national level and customer level.
- Use the available track system to report one’s activity concerning the visits performed, services given, replacement parts used and required, etc.
- Follow all safety/precautionary procedures.
- Regular communication with supervisor
- Ensure compliance of all work related activities, performing according to COMPANY policies and procedures
- Other Duties as Assigned
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or related curriculum and/or a Bachelors degree in poultry science or related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- Normally requires 2 - 5 years of related experience.
