1) Monitor construction work progress to achieve timely completion and desired quality.
2) Liaise with contractor, consultants and authorities on all technical, day-to-day operations and ensure conformance to project quality plan and specifications.
3) To ensure all construction works, materials used, and workmanship are complied with approved drawings / plans and specifications.
4) To monitor and control performance of contractor / subcontractors to ensure site progress is follow work schedule.
5) Carry out site inspection and testing of works. Refer site problems to superior and issue Site Instructions / NCR to contractor.
6) Supervise, witness of testing, commissioning until completion of concrete works at site.
7) To identify technical problems on site and to recommend corrective action to superior.
8) To check construction drawings for any discrepancies and coordinate with relevant Consultants.
9) To monitor defects in works under construction and after vacant possession (VP).
10) To maintain liaison with maintenance staff of contractors and ensure the defect works are identified, rectified, and completed timely.
11) To document all the construction records. To prepare daily reports on site activities and issue to relevant parties.
12) To attend and participate in site meetings and department meetings.
13) Familiarity in construction industry related issues.
14) Good ability to manage and supervise engineering and Architectural related works.
15) Have good judgement, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Able to communicate well and maintain appropriate working relationship with all parties at site. Ability to resolve detailing problems and site issues effectively.
