1. Broad Purpose of the Position
Food & Nutrition Specialists Pte Ltd is urgently seeking for a highly-motivated Food Program Executive to join our team of technical staffs comprising of nutritionists, dietitians and food scientists. The primary purpose and responsibility of the Food Program Executive is to assist the Managing Director, and the Director of Food, Nutrition & Regulatory Consultancy in the provision of food and nutrition-related services to the Company’s clients. Prior relevant working experience in project organization and management will be an advantage.
2. Roles & Responsibilities
The Food Program Executive will:
* Provide support to the Company’s Managing Director, and the Director of Food, Nutrition & Regulatory Consultancy in the provision of food and nutrition-related services to the Company’s key Client in its food and ingredient programs.
* Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of the Client’s technical and professional development training programs targeting at regional food and beverage industry.
* Provide support in the collaboration with relevant institutions to develop resource material to educate influencers and communicators in addressing specific food misinformation, and to promote relevant beneficial health attributes of specific foods.
* Work with relevant international and regional stakeholders including ingredients suppliers to identify practical R&D projects initiated by governments and private sectors that they could participate in.
* Provide support in the creation and dissemination of knowledge on functionality and utilization of Client’s ingredients and food products for new innovative products, to expand R&D and technology of plant-based food and beverages.
3. Job Requirements and Skills
* Degree in Food Science, or equivalent
* Preferably 1 year of related working experience
* Experience in event organization and management will be an advantage.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team
* Has an analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, with cheerful disposition and ability to interact well with clients and colleagues
* Able to optimize work performance and outcomes of given responsibilities and tasks.
* Able to multi-task and able to deliver independently.
