Job Description:

1. Knowledge:

• A blend of education, training, and hands-on experience in business, finance, and management.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics. Advanced degrees like MBA, MFin, ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.

2. Kind and Length of Experience:

• At least 15 years of extensive experience in banking and/or financial services.
• Proven leadership experience in roles like CEO, COO, Chief Commercial Officer, or Chief Strategy Officer is highly desirable.
• Direct involvement in driving product and digital/technology transformation initiatives.
• Thorough understanding and adherence to technology adoption and regulatory frameworks in financial services operations. 

3. Key Competencies:

• Strategic planning and execution.
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to identify and respond to market needs effectively.
• Demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
• Proficiency in internal and external relationship management and partnership working.
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership positions.
• Awareness of financial service market trends and agility in response to market shifts and government policies.
• Proficient in financial and operational performance management.
• Proven track record in staff development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Competence in risk recognition, mitigation, and management.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Capability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent IT skills and understanding.
