As a Vending Machine technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of vending machines at various locations. Your primary duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance checks on vending machines to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Diagnosing and Troubleshooting technical issues with vending machines.
• Conducting repairs and replacements of defective parts to restore vending machines to working condition. 
• Responding to service calls from clients promptly and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Installing new vending machines on sites according to specifications and safety standards
• Refiling of vending machines ( 6-7 machines daily depending on scheduled route)

 

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM/O level / Diploma or equivalent; C
• Electrical & Electronic certification is a bonus
• Able to comply with company and management rules
• able to work overtime if there is an urgent need/requirement 
• Possess own transport

Our client is an advocacy service that delivers support to vulnerable community members with concerns in mental health and housing.
This position is ongoing, working Monday to Friday. The pay rate is $45.00 per hour.
About the role:
As a Mental Health Advocate, you will provide Individual Advocacy- representing the rights and interests of individuals experiencing mental illness to address instances of discrimination, abuse, and/or neglect to improve their welfare.
This position reports to the Service Manager, with no direct reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support is delivered on either short term or issue specific basis. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to:

Work one on one with the individual experiencing a mental illness (or with the clients support person).
Develop a plan of action in partnership with the individual.
Educate the individual experiencing a mental illness about their rights.
Work through the individual advocacy support plan in partnership with the client.
Maintaiin accurate and up to date records/progress notes of activities taken.
Attend and participate in team and professional development activities.
Complete regular reporting in line with funding requirements.
Other duties relevant to the position as required.

Skills & Experience:

Experience working with people experiencing mental illness.
Ability to build and maintain effective professional networks.
Ability to act calmly with distressed people.
Ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualificatoins and Registrations:

Diaploma or Degree in relevant field
Current positive police clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Working with children card (Blue Card)
Disability yellow card
Proof of covid vaccination status

As part of a multidisciplinary team, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Social Work services to consumers and their families/significant others in the clinical specialty area of Older Adult Mental Health, using advanced Social Work clinical practice skills from a recovery orientated, trauma informed and positive aging perspective. Plans, implements and evaluates consumer safety and quality of care. Supervises Social Work staff, students and support staff in the unit/clinical area, coordinates duties and manages performance.

This is a recruitment pool for Older Adult Mental Health Community, Inpatient and Hospital in the Home Teams for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, fixed term part time and casual appointments.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/08/2024.
