Job Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master degree in Engineering (Any Decipline)
- Accredited by Society of Project Managers Singapore APM (Must)
- PSPC recognised project manager
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Carry out supervision and management of contract administration works.
- Implement a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure the works meet quality standards stipulated in the contract.
- Ensure all submissions comply with the latest requirements from relevant authorities.
- Ensure contractors obtain approval from relevant authorities in a timely manner for the execution of works.
- Ensure and review submissions of preliminary designs, consultations, reports, and feasibility studies to comply with the latest requirements.
- Cost control and monitoring of the project with management and supervision to ensure that the project is within the allocated budget and in accordance with the project provisions, conditions, and specifications.
- Evaluate the proposed program of works, review major milestones including sub-phasing of construction work activities for the monitoring of work progress, and recommend any necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate with the site team and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with all requirements, as well as design and drawings.
- Establish cost planning and management systems, safety aspects systems, time management, and quality management for the project.
- Identify and solve site problems. Liaise and coordinate with the project team and relevant authorities to ensure timely resolution of all site problems.
- Review, approve, and monitor the materials selected for the project using and testing according to specifications.
- Ensure all works are constructed according to the approved construction drawings and project specifications.
- Inspect completed works and arrange for the client or authorities to hand over completed works, including handing over relevant documents.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, processing of progress claims, claims for extension of time, and any other submissions.
- Act as the point of contact for organization of all authority matters related to the project, e.g., site visits, site meetings, and external parties' visits, etc.
- Respond to all emergency matters, such as fire and accidents, at the site during or outside working hours.
- Monitor all expenditure on the project, the project’s master program, and costs.
