The key responsibilities for the role entail
- Identify customer needs and convert them to opportunities for each customer group
- Develop programs with a systematic approach that will include appropriate product selections, cost in use calculations, investment needs and benefits delivered to the customer
- Conduct trials and gain approvals
- Lead in execution of key value propositions, offerings and innovations
- Replicate successes across customers and sectors, develop programs
- Train & support the local sales team members
- Monitor and improve upon service delivery models
- Work with country business teams to deliver the water treatment growth plan
The role will require extensive travel like 10-12 days a month or as per business needs

Industry background of the incumbent
It is important that the incumbent comes from a water treatment background preferably from a chemical treatment portfolio working with industrial customers and with experience in utility treatment and waste water management.
Exposure to the food & beverage manufacturing industry can be desirable but not mandatory
Education & skill background
- Should have a technical background
- Undergraduate degree or post graduate degree in engineering; chemistry; science
- This position needs to have a good understanding of technical issues and a technical problem solving attitude
- Good command over English language is mandatory
The incumbent shall be focused on providing technical support to grow the water treatment business within F&B customers in a designated country/cluster within APAC. He/she shall be required to identify the key gaps and improvement opportunities for customers to develop Diversey’s water treatment portfolio with a systematic approach that will include appropriate product selections, cost in use calculations and benefits delivered to the customer. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for defining standards / protocols for trials, customer audits for relevant applications, lead key trials and gain approvals. As a water treatment expert, the incumbent is also expected to train and/or double work with the sales team on water & wastewater treatment programs.
