Job Summary:

• As an Electrical Project Supervisor, you will spearhead the execution of electrical projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers to understand goals, timelines, and specifications.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling. 

2. On-site Supervision:

• Provide on-site supervision of electrical construction activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols. 

3. Resource Management:

• Coordinate and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Optimize resource utilization for cost-effectiveness. 

4. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure electrical installations meet quality standards and comply with codes.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks. 

5. Safety Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure on-site activities comply with regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions. 

6. Problem Solving:

• dentify and address technical issues and challenges.
• Collaborate with project teams for effective solutions. 

7. Progress Reporting:

• Provide regular progress reports to project managers.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders. 

8. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress claims and daily reports.
• Organize and manage project records. 

9. Client Interaction:

• Interact with clients and address concerns related to on-site activities.
• Foster positive client relationships for enhanced satisfaction. 

10. Training and Development:

• Provide training to junior staff, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical project supervision, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

- Planning of project work schedule.

- Coordinate with other trades and produce ACMV shop drawings.

- Working closely with consultant and client.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to the project team and customers.

- Testing and commissioning of ACMV systems after installation.

- Assist project manager in procurement.

- Managing project budget.

Requirements:

• Mine cost analysis and alternative project evaluations.

Key qualifications and experience required include the following;

• A tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering
• More than 5 years of mine operations experience in the resources industry
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Safety Management and a positive approach to implementing and execution of Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Surpac Software and the use of Whittle highly desirable.
• Competent user of Mircosoft Office Products especially Excel, Work and PowerPoint and Access database.

• Develop logistics and transportation plans for Teleport services.
• Follow policies, guidelines, and procedures for quality and cost control.
• Monitor timely execution and delivery of Teleport services.
• Assist and develop policies, procedures, and guidance documents across operational functions.
• Conduct distribution of supplies, maintain inventory records, and analyze requirements to achieve desired outcomes.
• Represent Teleport as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
• Collaborate with Teleport departments and third parties to improve logistics and reach desirable outcomes.
• Define and collect relevant indicators and metrics for Teleport operations.
• Analyze performance data to identify strengths and weaknesses, and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Specify infrastructure, facility, and equipment requirements for projects in operations.
• Interact with airline scheduling, network requirements, and regulatory teams for freighter operations.
• Liaise with engineering on maintenance requirements for freighters.
