As the Logistics Intern, you will be responsible for providing support for Colgate Customer Development strategy to drive the Supply Chain collaboration initiatives with our Global and Local Retailers in the Direct Trade.

What you will do

• Drives the opportunities to generate growth, profitability and reduce cost to serve through collaboration with the customers to improve end to end Supply Chain efficiency
• Monitors KPI metrics to understand service and efficiency trends within customers and identify opportunities for improvement (case fill, on-time, inventory, slow moving/obsolete, and logistics efficiency). Shares performance information with the team and distributors to develop collaborative approaches to correct inefficient behaviours or fix system disconnects/failures. 
• Supports the enforcement of Supply Chain Terms & Conditions with the customers and vendors.
• Drives Colgate Business Process - including warehouse process improvements, E2E freight and fulfilment, refinement and execution of standard operating procedures. 
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university
• Relevant work experience with prior experience in Customer Service, Logistics Operations, Demand/Supply Planning, Purchasing or Sales are desirable 
• Experience in Global Customer Supply Chain collaboration is highly preferable
• Excellent communication skills (both internally & externally) and analytical are a must 
• SAP experience is highly recommended /Utilization of Supply Chain system, data, tools using SAP

Huraian Kerja:

• Memeriksa dan menasihati pelanggan dan ejen tentang Kod HS yang betul apabila diperlukan.
• Memberi maklumat terkini kepada pelanggan tentang status penghantaran yang sedang menjalani pelepasan kastam.
• Menyediakan anggaran duti dan cukai kepada pelanggan.
• Mengeluarkan dan mengumpul invois duti/cukai dan menghantarnya kepada pelanggan.
• Menasihati pelanggan, ejen dan pasukan dalaman tentang dokumentasi dan permit yang diperlukan untuk pelepasan kastam.
• Mohon permit dengan Agensi atau Pihak Berkuasa Kerajaan yang berkaitan apabila perlu.
• Kemas kini Smartsheet secara berkala bagi memastikan semua jabatan sentiasa dimaklumkan tentang status penghantaran.
• Tindak lanjut dengan segera terhadap sebarang percanggahan yang berkaitan dengan dokumentasi penghantaran atau pelepasan.
• Kumpul dan proses invois pembekal untuk duti dan cukai; serahkan kepada Kewangan dan pastikan pembayaran dibuat tepat pada masanya.
• Dapatkan Sijil Pelepasan (COR) daripada vendor untuk menyokong Operasi dalam mengatur penghantaran.
• Bertindak sebagai penghubung antara Bahagian Kewangan dan Pasukan/Ejen Pelepasan Kastam bagi memastikan aliran dokumen dan transaksi yang lancar.
• Membantu kakitangan jabatan dengan tugas-tugas pentadbiran apabila diperlukan.
• Mematuhi semua Pematuhan Syarikat, Dasar Korporat dan Prosedur.
