Job opening for a Warehouse Logistics & Distribution Assistant Manager (Mandarin speaker) at multiple locations: Shah Alam, Nilai, Selayang, Kota Bharu, and Kuantan.
Key Job Descriptions
- Manage the Service Distribution Centre operations by ensure full compliance on standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Participate in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating, and enforcement of day to day operational activities involving physical stock counts and conducting inventory with reconciling storage data.
- Maintain service distribution centre staff job results by frequent coaching, counselling, disciplining, monitoring, and reviewing job results.
- Maintain physical condition of distribution centre by planning and implementing 5S’s; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repairs and replacement.
- Completes service distribution centre day to day operational requirements by overseeing scheduling process with follow up on delivery results.
- Monitoring stock movement and report to management timely on stocks level and fix the discrepancies.
- Participate and oversee operations - shipment inbound, loading and delivery by coordinating service and distribution staff to avoid and delays in delivery schedule.
- Safeguarded total warehouse operations and mitigate any liability by establishing and implementing employee training, safety and security protocols
- Enforced proactive inspection and maintenance schedule to keep operational equipment in good condition and conduct internal audits.
Key Job Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in Warehouse Operation/Supply Chain or Business Management.
- Minimum 5 years of Managerial working experience in total warehousing and distribution centre/logistic with 3PL is a MUST.
- Candidate with experience in storage of electrical/electronic product is preferred.
- Able to plan, result driven, self-starter and strong leadership skill.
- Computer literate with intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and familiar with WMS/SAP.
- Fluent both written and communication English and Mandarin is MUST.
- Immediate starter or with short notice is desirable.
