Requirements
Required Skills
aEURc 1-3 years of experience in software development, software testing, or quality assurance.
aEURc Good knowledge of Java.
aEURc Basic understanding of software testing concepts and defect lifecycle.
aEURc Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
aEURc Basic SQL knowledge and ability to work with databases.
aEURc Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
aEURc Ability to investigate issues in a structured manner.
aEURc Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
aEURc Good English communication skills.
aEURc Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
aEURc Willingness to make best use of AI tools responsibly to increase productivity, improve test coverage, accelerate troubleshooting, and support clear documentation.
We are also interested in candidates coming from a Junior Developer background who have strong Java skills and an interest in automation and quality engineering.
Preferred Skills
aEURc Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
aEURc Experience with Postman or API testing.0
aEURc Previous use of AI tools for coding, test automation, test case creation, debugging, documentation, or productivity improvement, such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.

aEURc Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
aEURc Experience working with Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or similar tools.
aEURc Experience analyzing logs and troubleshooting application issues.
aEURc Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.

aEURc Experience in banking, payments, or regulated environments.

Responsibilities
aEURc Analyze business and technical requirements and understand expected application behavior.
aEURc Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for APIs, backend services, and applications.
aEURc Run automated test suites and analyze execution results.
aEURc Investigate failed tests and determine whether issues originate from application defects, test scripts, configuration, test data, or environments.
aEURc Create and document defects, including logs, test evidence, root cause analysis, and reproduction steps.
aEURc Use AI tools responsibly, where appropriate, to support test automation, debugging, documentation, and faster analysis of technical issues.
aEURc Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
aEURc Maintain and improve existing automation scripts and frameworks.
aEURc Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Test Engineers, and DevOps teams.
aEURc Contribute to quality reporting and test execution monitoring.
aEURc Learn project-specific applications, technologies, and business processes.
aEURc Continuously improve testing and automation practices.
