This camaraderie helps with complex welding tasks in the elevator industry. I've significantly expanded my skills in metal fabrication and repair for various elevator components. Cons: Sometimes, especially during very busy periods, the workload for the fabrication team can get pretty intense, requiring longer hours to meet project deadlines. While this isn't constant, better planning or additional support during these peaks would definitely help balance things out. Also, while opportunities to advance welding skills exist, the formal path for career growth into supervisory roles isn't always super clear for us specialized tradespeople, which could be improved.
