Pros: As a Software Engineer, having a few WFH days each week was a solid perk. It helped cut down on my commute time to the San Francisco office. There's some decent flexibility for personal appointments.
Cons: Still, the push for core onsite days means it's not truly remote-friendly. If you're not living close to the San Francisco office, the 'hybrid' model can feel pretty rigid. It's tough for true work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Really think about what 'flexible' means. For engineering roles, embracing truly remote options would open up a lot more talent. The current hybrid model isn't working for everyone.
