Pros: The best part about DevTalksRomania is definitely the community aspect. You get to meet so many passionate developers, speakers, and sponsors from across the IT industry. It's a fantastic platform for learning and networking. The team is generally very collaborative and supportive, especially during the critical planning phases for our large-scale IT conferences.
Cons: The workload can be overwhelming at times, particularly during the months leading up to our major events. This can sometimes strain work-life balance, and communication about priorities could occasionally be clearer to avoid last-minute rushes. Some processes feel a bit ad-hoc, which is typical for a fast-growing event organizer.
Advice to Management: Consider formalizing some project management processes and providing clearer long-term roadmaps for event planning to help team members manage workload more predictably.
