Source and evaluate suppliers of construction materials, goods, and services.
Negotiate and secure the most cost-effective contracts and deals with suppliers and vendors.
Place bulk orders and manage purchase orders in accordance with project schedules.
Prepare and submit cost analysis reports and purchasing summaries for management review.
Review and ensure the quality of products and materials prior to approval and procurement.
Make accurate scheduling requests for the timely delivery of materials.
Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all orders, payments, receipts, and supplier communications.
Report and document any damaged or faulty purchases immediately.
Coordinate with suppliers, logistics/delivery teams, and warehouse staff for smooth receipt and inventory of goods.
Maintain healthy, professional working relationships with existing vendors and continuously evaluate new potential suppliers.
Support warehouse and site teams with any supply-related issues or requests.
1-3 Yrs Experience in the same Position
Familiarity with construction materials and supply chain requirements is required.
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and compare costs, quality, and delivery terms.
Highly organized with attention to detail and time management.
Proficient in MS Office and basic inventory/purchasing software or ERP systems.
