The curriculum for our coding bootcamp was well-designed, giving me a solid framework while still allowing for pedagogical flexibility to engage students. The team environment, both with fellow instructors and support staff, was genuinely collaborative. It's a great place for professional development in the education & training sector, especially for refining technical teaching skills and leadership.
Cons: My main constructive feedback revolves around the job security aspect, which can be a bit challenging as a cohort-based instructor. While I loved my time leading the Detroit program, there's always a slight uncertainty between programs about the next assignment or contract, which requires proactive planning. A clearer, more structured pathway for transitioning high-performing Lead Instructors between different coding bootcamp cohorts or into curriculum development roles would really enhance
