Pros: Vault Cloud is a genuinely great place for a Cloud Operations Engineer. The culture is very supportive; colleagues are always willing to help. I've had tons of learning opportunities, especially with cutting-edge secure cloud services for government clients. They really embrace hybrid work, offering excellent flexibility which helps with work-life balance.
Cons: Career progression can sometimes feel a bit slow, particularly for senior roles. Also, some internal processes, while necessary for security in the government cloud industry, can be a bit bureaucratic and impact project velocity. Communication could be more streamlined across different departments.
Advice to Management: Continue to invest in clear pathways for career advancement, especially for experienced technical staff. Streamlining some of the internal approval processes could also help teams move faster and be more agile.
