Decent place, but job security feels shaky

Pros: I like the people I work with here; my colleagues are super supportive. The hybrid work model is great for balancing things, and I get to tackle some interesting problems in the software development industry. It's not a bad place to learn stuff.
Cons: Job security is a huge concern right now, especially for those in junior Software Engineer roles. There were recent layoffs, and it's created a lot of uncertainty for everyone. Plus, there's not much transparency from leadership about where the company is headed financially.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to be more open about the company's financial standing and future plans. It would go a long way in calming fears and rebuilding trust after the recent layoffs. More communication is essential. Show more
