Decent Hybrid Setup, Needs More Real Flexibility

Pros: I appreciate the hybrid model; it lets me work from home 2-3 days a week. This is a big plus for dealing with the daily commute to the Kuala Lumpur office. It's nice to have those WFH days for focus work.
Cons: However, the 'flexible hours' aren't that flexible for us in agile development teams. You still need to be online during strict core hours. Getting full remote approval as a Software Engineer is really tough, almost impossible even for senior staff.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more flexibility beyond the current hybrid model. Trust your experienced Software Engineers with more remote work options. Re-evaluate strict core hours for agile development if you want to attract top tech talent. Show more
