Pros: The base salary for a Junior Litigation Paralegal here is pretty solid. It's competitive with other firms in the Chicago area for entry-level legal roles. Plus, the 401k match is a decent perk.
Cons: Health insurance costs a ton out of pocket, which really eats into your paycheck. There isn't much PTO either, which is tough for trying to take actual vacations. Also, no real work from home options for onsite staff.
Advice to Management: Please reconsider the health insurance options; the current plans are way too expensive for employees. Also, increasing PTO would really boost morale and make a big difference for everyone in this busy legal environment.
