Okay pay, but benefits could be better.

Pros: The company pays salaries on time, which is always a plus. For a mid-sized construction company in Kuala Lumpur, the base pay for a Quantity Surveyor is decent. Some senior roles reportedly get good project bonuses.
Cons: The benefits package is pretty standard and doesn't offer much beyond the basics. There's not a strong performance-based bonus structure for most of us working on various construction projects. Annual raises tend to be small and often don't keep up with the cost of living.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing the benefits package and introducing more comprehensive performance-based bonuses across all roles, not just senior management. This would definitely help with employee motivation and retention. Show more
