Okay Pay, Benefits Could Be Better for Recruiters
Pros: The base salary for a Junior Recruiter was actually pretty solid, especially considering it's a remote position. Commissions in talent acquisition can be decent if you hit your targets. They also offer a small remote work stipend.
Cons: The health benefits package isn't great, pretty basic overall. There's no 401k match, which feels like a big miss for a small recruitment firm. The total compensation could definitely be more competitive.
Advice to Management: Consider investing more in employee benefits like a 401k match or better health plans to attract and retain top talent for recruiting roles. It would make a big difference for us remote employees.

Decent Hybrid Setup, But Can Get Busy
Pros: I appreciated the hybrid work model; it really helped with my commute into the Los Angeles office. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I generally had control over my daily schedule, which is good. They offer solid health benefits too.
Cons: Work-life balance can definitely suffer during busy periods. Sometimes, especially in the recruitment industry, you're expected to be available well past 5 PM to close deals. It's a mid-sized company, so resources can feel stretched when things get hectic.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workload distribution, especially for recruitment roles during peak seasons. Burnout is a real concern for the team.

Decent Work-Life for Remote Recruitment Roles
Pros: Working remote is a huge perk, that's for sure. I mostly stick to 40-45 hour weeks as a Junior Recruiter, which is solid. There's good flexibility if you need to adjust your schedule, making it very work-from-home friendly.
Cons: Sometimes the workload really ramps up, especially at month-end. It's not always easy to completely disconnect when you're in talent acquisition. Expectations for responsiveness can feel high even outside of core hours.
Advice to Management: Keep pushing for realistic workload expectations, especially for remote recruitment roles. Help managers ensure teams don't feel pressured to work constantly outside of business hours.
