Pros: The base salary for a CAD Software Engineer in Austin, TX is pretty solid. They do offer a 401k match, which is a nice touch for financial planning.
Cons: Health insurance plans aren't the best; high deductibles are a pain. Bonuses aren't very transparent and seem inconsistent for core engineering roles. Paid time off (PTO) isn't as generous as other tech companies I've seen.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the health insurance options and make the bonus structure clearer for engineering teams. Better PTO could also help with retention.
