Pay and benefits could use a big boost
Pros: The job security for Project Engineer roles feels pretty solid here. You won't worry much about layoffs, which is good in the current market. Some colleagues in the Kuala Lumpur office are great to work with on construction projects.
Cons: Honestly, the pay for my engineering roles is below market average. I've seen better packages for similar work in Kuala Lumpur. The annual increment is pretty minimal, and benefits like health coverage aren't as comprehensive as expected from a corporate entity.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the compensation structure for all employees. Competitive salaries and better benefits packages are crucial to retain good talent in this industry. Show more
