RFI CONTROL ENGINEERING SDN BHD was incorporated in year 2008 and we serve as a System Integrator (SI) in the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E&I) segment as well as in the Extra Low Voltage (ELV) subcontracting works.
Under the E&I division, we undertake industrial automation projects such as water treatment plants, Biogas plant, Building Management System, customized E&I system (SCADA & PLC) for Industrial and Oil & Gas plant which includes explosion proof control systems.
Under the ELV division, we serve as a subcontractor to the building services ELV systems (SMATV, Tel FTTH, Public Address System, Security Card access, Boom Gates, CCTV, Audio & Video Intercom, Alarm, Security High Voltage Perimeter fencing, Guard tour, Parking & Guidance system, Audio Visual System, Stage Lighting system).
We serve to provide comprehensive solutions to the ICT sector, namely networking solutions (infrastructure cabling, Switch Networking configuration, Wifi setup, Firewall), Telephony solutions (IP PABX).

Pros: The team in the Kuala Lumpur office is really supportive; you learn a lot working on diverse industrial automation projects. There's a good chance to get real experience with SCADA systems and PLCs. It's a stable company in the engineering industry.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit rigid, like leadership doesn't really listen to feedback from us engineers. Decision-making is super slow, and it sometimes feels like we're stuck in the past. There's not much push for new ideas in control engineering practices.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to open up to new ideas and listen more to junior and mid-level engineers. Embrace modern practices in automation and foster a more dynamic work environment.
