Pros: As a Software Engineer, the hybrid work setup is pretty solid. We get to work from home two days a week, which is nice for avoiding the daily commute in the San Francisco area. It's a decent balance for most of the team.
Cons: If you're looking for full WFH flexibility, you won't find it here. The three days in the office are mandatory, no exceptions, even for senior staff. It can be a real challenge when personal stuff comes up.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into giving more trust and flexibility, especially for experienced engineering talent. Letting teams decide their WFH days could really improve morale and retention.
