Leadership is a bit of a mixed bag

Pros: My immediate team lead was pretty supportive, which is great for new hires in tech. The overall team culture among colleagues in this medium-sized tech company is solid and makes daily work more bearable.
Cons: Upper management often seems disconnected from the actual project realities, especially in the Kuala Lumpur office. Decisions can change fast without clear communication, which makes proper project planning tough. There's not much transparency from the top.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to improve communication channels, especially for technical roles. More transparent decision-making and better alignment with team leads would help a lot. Show more

Job Security's a Mixed Bag at This Tech Firm

Pros: They do have some steady clients in the enterprise IT solutions space, so core teams can feel fairly stable. If you're essential to a long-term software development project, you're probably okay.
Cons: Projects can get cut with little notice, which definitely makes you feel uneasy. I've seen some good people let go without much warning, especially when management changes direction. It's not ideal for long-term career planning.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about project longevity and future company direction. Clearer communication on job roles and stability would help retain talent in this mid-sized tech firm. Show more
