Pros: The biggest plus is definitely the learning opportunities. As a junior member, I've had chances to work on diverse projects and develop new skills related to data analysis and academic content management. The company culture is collaborative, and people are generally willing to help each other out. The location in Rogaland is also quite nice for living. They offer good remote work flexibility which is a huge advantage.
Cons: Sometimes, communication between departments can be a bit slow, leading to minor delays on tasks. The pace can feel a little inconsistent, with some periods being very busy and others quite slow. While the pay is decent for the role and location, it doesn't always feel competitive with market rates for similar tech roles in larger cities, especially considering the specialized nature of academic publishing software.
Advice to Management: Continue fostering the collaborative spirit and leverage the remote work flexibility. Consider more structured cross-departmental communication channels to streamline workflows and enhance project efficiency.
