Stable Pharmacy Software Role with Room for Process Improvement
Pros: ScriptPro provides a very stable work environment within the healthcare technology industry. It's rewarding to contribute to software that directly impacts pharmacy operations and patient safety across many U.S. locations. My colleagues are generally helpful, and there's a good sense of camaraderie within the engineering teams. The company has a strong market presence.
Cons: While the company offers stability, career growth opportunities can sometimes feel a bit slow or rigidly defined. Communication from senior leadership about strategic direction could be clearer at times. The pay and benefits are competitive but not exceptional, especially compared to some larger tech firms. Refining certain internal processes would also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing internal communication channels and providing clearer career path visibility for employees. Streamlining development processes could also boost efficiency and morale.

Good stability, collaborative tech environment.
Pros: ScriptPro offers a very stable work environment within the pharmacy software industry. Being in the Kansas City area is a plus. My team was great, and there was a good sense of camaraderie and support. You'll learn a lot about healthcare technology and develop strong technical skills here.
Cons: There can be pressure during release cycles, impacting work-life balance. Sometimes communication from upper management about strategic changes could be more transparent. While you can grow, formal mentorship programs are limited.
Advice to Management: Consider implementing more formal mentorship programs and clearer pathways for advancement within the technical roles. Enhancing transparency on strategic decisions would also be beneficial.

Hybrid Work, Still Pretty Set Hours
Pros: The hybrid model is decent, with some days in the **Kansas City office**. It's nice to see teammates in person for project discussions and when working on **robotics software**. For **Software Engineer** roles, the work is stable and the company's **pharmacy automation** tech is solid.
Cons: True flexibility just isn't there, even with hybrid work. You have set days for onsite, and it's tough to adjust those for personal stuff. I wish there were more options for ad-hoc **remote** days; it often feels like you're stuck to a rigid schedule.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible hours or additional ad-hoc remote days for employees who prove they can be productive. The current hybrid setup feels more like a fixed rotation than true flexibility.
