Pros: I enjoyed my time working as a Software Engineer at FYWARE. The company tackles interesting problems in the AI and cybersecurity space, which made the work engaging. My colleagues were smart and collaborative, always willing to help out. There were good opportunities to learn new technologies and contribute meaningfully to projects, especially for someone looking to grow in the AI/ML field.
Cons: The biggest drawback for me was the perceived job security. As a company often involved in government contracts and R&D, project timelines and funding can shift, leading to some uncertainty about role stability. It's not a place where you always feel completely insulated from external market forces or shifting priorities, which can be a point of stress.
Advice to Management: Focus on diversifying revenue streams or building more internal, less project-dependent initiatives to bolster job security for employees. Better communication regarding project outlooks and potential impacts would also be appreciated.
