Pros: WalterFedy has a really strong company culture. Everyone's super collaborative, especially across our integrated architecture and engineering teams. It's a fantastic environment for an Architectural Designer to learn new skills and get hands-on experience on diverse projects in the AEC industry. The hybrid work model in Kitchener is a huge plus for my work-life balance too. Leadership is supportive, and I feel valued here.
Cons: While the compensation package is competitive, I do feel career progression can sometimes feel a bit slow without very active self-advocacy. More transparency around promotion timelines would be helpful for long-term career planning. Sometimes approval processes can also feel a little bureaucratic.
