Solid Tech Role with Good Team Dynamics
I worked as a Software Engineer in the Guangzhou-Foshan Metropolitan Area for Adjust, a leading SaaS company in the AdTech and mobile analytics space. Overall, it was a solid experience with a great team and opportunities to learn. The company culture is generally positive and collaborative, though there's room for improvement in cross-team communication.
The best part was definitely the people. My immediate team was incredibly supportive, and I learned a lot working on complex problems in the mobile attribution industry. The hybrid work model in Guangzhou offered good flexibility, and the overall tech environment felt innovative. Benefits were decent, and there are clear paths for career growth if you're proactive.
Sometimes communication between departments, especially with global teams, could be slow or unclear, leading to minor delays. Processes can feel a bit bureaucratic at times, which is common for growing tech companies, but it occasionally impacted efficiency for us in the APAC region. Pay and benefits, while adequate, could be more competitive compared to some other AdTech players.
Focus on streamlining inter-departmental communication and feedback loops to enhance efficiency and collaboration across global teams.
