Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here is actually pretty solid for a startup company. I like that we have unlimited PTO, which is a nice perk if you manage to take it.
Cons: The health insurance options aren't great, and I feel like I'm paying too much for them. There's almost no 401k matching, which really impacts long-term savings. The total compensation package isn't very competitive overall.
Advice to Management: Please reconsider the benefits package, especially health insurance and 401k matching. It would help attract and keep great talent.
