Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js .
- Build, integrate, and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and optimised performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Manage database design and integration using MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and data security measures.
- Debug and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to improve software quality.
- Stay updated with new technologies and frameworks in the Node.js ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Node.js development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations.
- Good hands-on experience with databases, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Familiar with version control tools like Git/GitHub.
