About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in SQL development, with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, QA engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality enterprise applications. The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and managing distributed transactions using SQL Server 2017 or higher. The position requires a proactive approach to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing database operations to ensure system reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of five years of experience as a SQL Developer, with proven expertise in SQL Server environments. A strong command of T-SQL development, including stored procedures, indexed views, user-defined functions, triggers, cursors, and distributed transactions, is essential. Knowledge of SQL Server 2025 is a must-have, along with familiarity with data migration and transfer utilities such as SSIS, BCP, and Bulk Insert, with at least two years of hands-on experience. While SSIS is not mandatory, it is considered a valuable skill. Candidates should demonstrate excellent debugging and performance tuning capabilities, along with experience working within both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Strong communication, client interaction, and coordination skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with version control systems like Git will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize stored procedures, indexed views, user-defined functions, triggers, cursors, XML, and manage distributed transactions using SQL Server 2017 or higher.
• Design and implement robust technical and functional solutions, ensuring thorough testing and validation of all deliverables.
• Establish effective working relationships within the team and with stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Investigate system issues, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions to improve overall system performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing activities to promote best practices.
• Assist in data migration and transfer activities utilizing tools such as SSIS, BCP, and Bulk Insert.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in SQL development and database management to recommend enhancements and innovations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support project objectives and organizational goals.
