About The Role
We are seeking a talented Flutter Developer to join our team on a short-term basis for a duration of four months. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to independently manage the complete mobile app development lifecycle, from designing intuitive UI/UX to integrating backend services and preparing apps for deployment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a startup-ready mindset who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to take ownership of their work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust Android and iOS applications, ensuring seamless performance, and delivering high-quality, production-ready builds. Collaboration with backend developers and other team members will be essential to ensure the successful execution of projects. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys learning quickly, working autonomously, and contributing meaningfully to innovative digital solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart, demonstrating a strong understanding of mobile app architecture and best practices. Familiarity with integrating REST APIs, handling JSON data, and managing app state effectively is essential. Candidates should have experience working with Git or other version control systems and be comfortable working independently to complete features end-to-end.
Additional qualifications include experience with Firebase services such as Authentication, Firestore, and Notifications, along with prior exposure to app deployment on the Play Store and App Store. Candidates with startup experience or those who have managed solo projects will be preferred, as this role requires a proactive, problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn continuously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications using Flutter, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Implement UI/UX designs accurately based on provided specifications, including Figma files and design prototypes.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and backend services to enable full app functionality.
- Manage app state, navigation, and optimize performance to deliver a smooth user experience.
- Identify and debug issues, fix bugs, and ensure the overall stability of the applications.
- Prepare and publish app builds on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, following respective guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with backend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration and project delivery.
- Take full ownership of assigned modules and features, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
