Full Stack Engineer
Role Overview
Foundational engineer design and build a production-grade, extensible internal tooling platform replacing our Superblocks-based system, with emphasis on security, developer experience, AI-augmented workflows, and extensibility.
What You'll Do
Platform Development
- Build a React-based internal platform with reusable component libraries and extensible scaffolding.
- Migrate Superblocks workflows into production-grade features; integrate frontend with backend APIs.
- Design for central orchestration deployment reaching all regions without per-region deploys.
Security & Compliance
- Implement reusable RBAC, Guardian-based permissions, and audit logging applied automatically across platform constructs.
- Build Okta SSO (OIDC/SAML) with distinct identity model, token handling, and session management.
- Enforce data privacy, least-privilege, and access scoping by role and environment.
Reliability & Async Workflows
- Build a platform-level error handling framework surfacing actionable errors and routing to logging/alerting.
- Support scheduling and async pipelines via Argo CD, Temporal, or equivalent.
AI & Collaboration
- Leverage AI to accelerate development and embed AI-driven productivity features into internal tooling.
- Partner with platform, security, infra, and ops teams; drive clarity in ambiguous ownership areas.
Requirements
Must Have
- Experience in building React and full-stack applications.
- Strong React proficiency; experience building reusable component systems.
- Solid full-stack skills owning frontend and supporting backend services.
- Hands-on Okta or equivalent IdP experience (OIDC/SAML), including token/session management.
- Experience designing and enforcing RBAC and reusable security primitives.
- Familiarity with audit logging, access control, and data privacy in production.
- Experience with async workflows or pipeline orchestration (Temporal, ArgoCD, or similar).
- Experience using Claude or other AI tools to accelerate development.
Strong Plus
- Experience migrating from low-code platforms (Superblocks, Retool, etc.).
- Familiarity with multi-region or orchestration-layer deployment architectures.
- Prior work in compliance-sensitive environments (SOC 2, access boundary enforcement).
- Track record building platforms used by multiple teams.
