About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Developer to join our dynamic team at Programmers.io. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust SQL Server databases. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal database performance, security, and scalability. Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server development and administration.
- Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Proven expertise in writing, optimizing, and maintaining stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Experience with RESTful API development and LINQ.
- Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize complex queries for performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Optimize complex SQL queries and ensure database performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate database logic into business applications.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and industry standards.
Monitor database performance and implement necessary improvements.
Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on database development best practices.
Assist in troubleshooting database issues and implementing solutions promptly.
