Pros: The onboarding for new grads is pretty good. You get solid training on their internal systems. It's a stable big tech company, so job security is fine for entry-level tech roles. The hybrid model is also a plus for flexibility in the San Francisco office.
Cons: Career growth here is definitely a slow burn. There aren't many clear paths to move up as a Junior Software Engineer. You're often stuck doing the same tasks for a while. Mentorship isn't as strong as I'd hoped, which makes it tough to learn new skills.
Advice to Management: Invest more in clear career progression frameworks for entry-level engineering roles. Improve the mentorship program; it could really help junior staff develop faster and reduce turnover.
